In 2005, we were recognized by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation as a
“Qualified Development Non-Governmental Organization.” A recognition in which there are only 20 Spanish non-governmental organizations, and those which can choose to finance the new method of intervention for cooperation titled “agreement.
Thus in 2006, four important
Agreements were initiated, and in 2007, one more co-financed by the International Spanish Cooperation Agency for Development for a total amount of 17.177.483euros. Three of these agreements consolidated FPSC’s work in the
Middle East in education, assistance to the disabled, and high risk social exclusion groups, and in the development of agriculture and fishing; another will be developed in the
Democratic Republic of Congo beginning with the education sector; and the fourth in
Vietnam to encourage the development of ecotourism.
Furthermore, in 2006, a work agreement was signed with the European Commission’s Dept. of Humanitarian Aid
(ECHO).
In April 2008, the FPSC signed a Framework Agreement with the Reina Sofia Foundation.
